Friendship Circle's Five Facets
The Friendship Circle has five facets:
icon-paintedpalm.jpgHome Visitations: Upon completion of The Friendship Circle training session, volunteers can choose to partner with another volunteer and visit a child’s home on a regular basis. The goal of home visitations is to provide a positive social setting, skill building, and friendship.
manatee8881148-icon.jpgFamily Fun Days: These are outings with The Friendship Circle for your whole family. Come watch your child hang out with peers and socialize over some good old fun. Also a great opportunity to get together with other parents involved in the program and share friendship in more than one way.
icon-Basketball.jpgSports Nights: This year we will offer basketball classes at the OSU RPAC center, with OSU student volunteers. Sports nights are open to ages 8+.
stock-bowling-icon.jpgTeen Scene: Teen Scene pairs OSU volunteers with teenaged buddies, both for home visits and group programming. Activities include Bowling and Cooking Classes.
icon-coffee-cup-xsm.jpgParent Events: Informal gatherings planned for both parents of volunteers and parents of the special buddies, respectively. At the volunteer parent events, information about the program is shared and questions are addressed and discussed. Parents also take the time to share a cup of coffee and camaraderie.

Also:  icon-carnival-mask.jpgHoliday Events: These are community events for Friendship Circle families and volunteers. This year's events included a Sukkot Celebration, a Chanuka party at Easton, and Purim Live!
